Who is Pescada?

If you want to get in touch: sara (AT) saraalmeida.com

[I should probably tell you that Pescada is fish commonly eaten in Portugal. Usually baked.
It's delicious and that's all there is to it.]

Between 2010 and 2013 you can read on this blog about Pescada migrating to England. Then onto France, followed by New Zealand. There's always a bit of Portugal around.

In September 2015 I moved to Greece to help refugees that arrived to the island of Lesbos. You can read about this on my blog. I did a Q&A session on Reddit that answers many questions people ask me about my time volunteering.

I stayed in Greece for 1.5 years doing a mix of volunteering and paid work with a medical NGO.
That experience sparked my interest in medical aid which led me to a change in career.

I now work as a paramedic in the East of England Ambulance Service.

Make yourself at home!
